Q. I received my membership number. Now how do I get my username and password?
Click on Need from the Need/Forgot Username link at the top right hand side of the site. Then simply follow the on-screen instructions.

Q. What happens when I sign-up? Do I get an email with details?
Yes, after you sign-up for IdentitySecure, we'll send all the details of your membership to the email address you've indicated. Should this email address not work, we'll mail a membership kit to the postal address you've provided.

Q. Can the password have symbols or spaces?
It can have symbols, but no spaces. Upper or lowercase does not matter.

Q. I signed up using the wrong email address, what do I do?
You should still be able to log in with your selected username and password. If you do not have this information, just email service@myidentitysecure.com so we can help you make any necessary changes.

Q. I received an error message after logging in.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Please follow the instructions outlined under the error message or try logging in to IdentitySecure again. If the problem persists, pleased call our Customer Service department at 1-888-344-9406, from 10AM to 7PM Eastern Time.

Q. Why can't I get my Public Records Report when I click on "View Your Public Records Report"?
Your Public Records Report is displayed via a pop-up window-so chances are if you cannot see this window, your browser is set to block pop-ups. Disable this option, then try again. If the problem persists, pleased call our Customer Service department at 1-888-344-9406, from 10AM to 7PM Eastern Time.

Q. What are my member benefits?
As a member of IdentitySecure, you are entitled to the following:

  • Online monitoring and tools including DataSweep, Online Credit/Debit Card Monitoring, S.A.F.E. Score and more
  • A Public Records Report with quarterly monitoring
  • ID Theft Resolution Service
  • Up to $25,000 of insurance coverage per year for certain financial losses resulting from an online or off-line identity fraud (this coverage is not available to residents of the state of New York).

Q. How do I access the members-only site?
Input your username and password in the entry fields at the top right. You'll be taken to your IdentitySecure Dashboard.

Is the Public Records Report available for citizens of other countries?
Unfortunately we can only generate a Public Records Report for American citizens at this time. We plan to add service for other countries in the future.

Q. How long will it take to get my Public Records Report?
Usually, not very long. A Public Records Report normally takes between one to six hours to compile, depending on the reporting time of the data sources. Very occasionally, a Public Records Report will take additional hours to compile. Please contact us if you have not received your Public Records Report within 24 hours.
